Paws Paradise: a brand of its own after 17 years

Paws Paradise is a pet hotel in Boardman, Ohio, with 16,000 square feet of boarding, daycare and grooming. After 17 years under a franchise brand, it went independent, and I designed and built its new website.

Seventeen years of trust, and a brand-new name.

For 17 years, the facility ran under a franchise brand. When the owners, Scott and Kim, decided to go independent as Paws Paradise, they needed a brand of their own.

Their old website was hard to follow, and its photos did not show how good the place really is.

Make it fun, make it clear, make it trusted.

Charisse created a playful tropical brand: a logo and a cast of mascots that make the business easy to remember.

I designed and built the website on WordPress, with a clear page for each service and trust badges for their 17 years of experience.

Meet Sunny, Coconut and Island.

Three mascots give the brand a friendly face that pet owners remember. They lead the homepage and turn up across the site and social posts.

A tropical palette, straight from the logo.

Sunshine yellow melting into palm green, a mango orange accent and bold black outlines keep every page bright, playful and easy to read.

A clear page for every service.

Boarding, daycare, pet sitting and grooming each get their own page, with the mascots up front and real photos of the facility.

A pet hotel that looks as fun as it is.

Pet owners can now see the 16,000-square-foot facility, compare boarding, daycare and grooming, and call in one tap.
